PRODUCT DETAILS

What was once designed for chasing steelhead and salmon is now a brush that’s super useful for catching anything from predatory warm water species like pike and bass to saltwater giants like tarpon and striped bass. Combining EP’s Silky and Sparkle materials on a stainless steel core, the Enrico Puglisi Anadromus Brush has a ton of natural movement with just enough flash, while its heavy-duty stainless steel core ensures durability for the long haul. These brushes are 10” long and you get six per pack, allowing you to tie quite a few flies from each pack; also, their composition of materials sheds water very quickly, making your flies easier to cast. Enrico Puglisi’s Anadromus Brush is available in a wide range of colors, and whether you need something subtle to imitate a freshwater sculpin or want something bold and attractive to get the attention of fish in tannin-stained waters, there’s an option for it all. From that trip to the Everglades to a morning on the Salmon River swinging flies, Enrico Puglisi is sure to enhance your fly’s success with their Anadromous Brush.

Uses

A super versatile brush, the Enrico Puglisi Anadromus Brush can be used in a ton of different ways. From wrapping collars on steelhead and salmon flies to palmering bodies and heads on streamers, this brush can do it all, and with a stainless steel core, you can turn to this brush whether you’re fishing fresh or saltwater.

Comparisons

There are tons of different brush options on the tying market, and another popular option for winding collars and wrapping heads/bodies is Enrico Puglisi’s Foxy Brush. Unlike the Anadromous Brushes, Foxy Brushes have Arctic Fox Fur in them, providing a more natural appearance with a bit more “swimming” action. Foxy Brushes also have just the right amount of flash, making it equally as easy to add a bit of sparkle to your patterns. Both of these brushes are great choices, but when you want to add a natural look to your flies, the Foxy Brush is a better choice; on the other hand, when you want the added durability and water-shedding properties of a synthetic, the Adandromous Brush is the better choice.
